Monty's is an upscale casual restaurant in Harrisonburg, VA serving comfort food with a modern touch. We are proud to work with local farmers and artisan purveyors as we offer an array of options that are sure to please both locals and travelers alike.
In a nod to our formerly named Montpelier Restaurant, the name Monty’s is meant to evoke an upscale experience in the friendly environment for which we are known at Hotel Madison.
The transition is timed to coincide with the release of our new dinner menu, developed from the experience and heart of Tassie Pippert, chef extraordinaire of the Emmy-award winning show Un-Wine’d, professor emeritus of JMU’s Hart School of Hospitality, and now our Chef-in-Residence. We are delighted to share her dishes under the direction of Executive Chef Matt Carothers who has trained under Tassie for the occasion.
